Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies Ian Pugh FGIntPT
Living close to the City of Bath, with the history of possibly the original and well known Master of Ceremonies, Richard Beau Nash, I am acutely aware of the need to perform to the highest standards. Thankfully I have been trained by the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters and rigorously tested by an examining board of my peers. Leading to my qualification as a Fellow of the Guild.
Having previously worked at senior management levels in industry and running my own businesses for over 20 years, I have proven organisational abilities that have served me well and enhanced my experience for your event as a toastmaster.
A natural public speaker, I have also worked in the Radio industry as well as working as Master of Ceremonies for local shows and events.
With my training, skills and experience, I will be the ideal Toastmaster for your function, be it a wedding celebration, dinner party, civic or any special event, leaving you to thoroughly enjoy the day, whether it is here in the UK, or anywhere around the world.
We needed someone to be our MC for a Celebration evening with over 80 guests. This included dignitaries, families, businesses and young people.
Ian fulfilled this role admirably, his style suited all guests, excellent outfit.
Prior to the event Ian met me at the venue to 'walk the talk' and was very thorough in checking every detail and several phone calls to check information.
On the evening he was very articulate and had an 'air' about him which suited the evening.
Anyone looking for an MC or a Toast Master would not have to look any further than Ian. A true professional
I hope this finds you well and you have recovered from the weekend. I wanted to thank you for everything on Saturday. It was invaluable having you there and you went above and beyond what we had asked you to do. Never hesitating to step in should anything arise and no doubt solving plenty of issues that we never even saw thanks to your quick and experienced interventions! Your toast calling and management of our guests was impeccable as many guests have commented. I wish you all the best. Rufus Lawrence
Ian, I hope you are not insulted by this, but when my wife insisted on having a Toastmaster, I thought it was a waste of money. However, on the day, whenever there was a problem you were resolving it. When the route of the Baraat was blocked you found another way. You were the 'go to' person for information, even organising warmed bottles of milk for our guests children. Your announcements and control were brilliant. If I have leaned only two things today it's, always listen to my wife and never hold a function without a Toastmaster. Ian, thank you so much. Rohit
Hi Ian, This is a very very big thank you for all your hard work yesterday. It really wouldn't have gone so well without you controlling things. Kiran.
